Terms of Use

The ground rules for using our website.

These terms apply to your use of asasaprivateschool.ca, run by ASASA Academy ("ASASA Academy", "we", "us"). By using the website you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Information only, not an offer

We work to keep program details, hours, fees, subsidy information and availability accurate, but they can change without notice. Nothing on this website is an offer of a space or a binding quote. Fees and any subsidies or grants are confirmed in writing when a space is offered. Enrolment is governed only by our signed enrolment agreement and school handbook. If they conflict with this website, the agreement and handbook apply. Any price we show is the full price for what is described; any other mandatory fees are listed in the parent agreement before you sign.

Forms and messages

When you send a form, please give accurate information and only share details about other people (such as a second parent or emergency contact) if you are allowed to. Sending a form is a request, not a reservation; a tour, visit or space is confirmed only when we confirm it. Please don't use our forms for emergencies. Call the school, or 911.

General information, not professional advice

Articles and resources on this site are general information about early learning and parenting. They are not medical, legal or financial advice. Always speak to a qualified professional about your child's needs.

Our content and photos

The text, logos, photos, videos and design of this website belong to ASASA Academy or are used with permission. Photos of children are published with written permission from their parents or guardians, and they may not be copied, downloaded for reuse, shared out of context or altered. You may share links to our pages and print pages for personal use. Any other copying, republishing, or use of our content to train artificial intelligence systems requires our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use bots, scrapers or automated tools to copy content or submit forms;
  • send spam, advertising or malicious content through our forms;
  • try to access areas of the site or systems you aren't authorized to use, or probe, scan or test their security;
  • disrupt the website or impersonate anyone.

We may block access and report misuse to the authorities.

Staff portal

The staff portal is only for people we have authorized. Access is logged. Accounts are personal and must not be shared. Unauthorized access is prohibited and may be reported to police.

Our site links to and embeds services run by others, such as Google Maps, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Advertising

We promote ASASA Academy with ads on Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Our ads describe our own services and link to this website. If you agree, these platforms use cookies to measure and target our ads, as explained in the Privacy Policy. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Accessibility

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. If anything on the site is hard to use, call 403-285-9277 or email contact@asasa.ca and we will help and give you the information another way.

No warranty

The website is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or free of harmful code, although we work hard to keep it secure.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, ASASA Academy and its staff are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or any information on it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law, including Alberta's Consumer Protection Act, says cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Alberta, sitting in Calgary.

Language

This website and these terms are written in English at the request of all parties. Les parties ont expressément exigé que ce site, ces conditions et tous les documents qui s'y rattachent soient rédigés en anglais.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it.
